C&R Interm Bundle (9-12 yrs Thurs 17h30) Thymio (Template)

The Coding and Robotics Bundle course is for learners who are starting out with robotics and coding as their main area of interest, and are ready to make a long term commitment.  The course is a walk-through of all we have to offer over a period of 3-4 years, introducing and expanding on a variety of mechanical, electronic, coding and robotics principles.

This will become the place for learners to journey together through coding and robotics, forming friendships that will extend into teams for competitions and events.

The course requires a year by year commitment, finishing in 3 – 4 years, and is for those who value planning stability.  It is not suitable for learners who are over-committed to constantly changing extramural timetables.

The course will run once per week for the year (excluding public holidays and government school holidays).

This Coding and Robotics bundle will be moving to our Thymio course at the start of term 1. The bundle will be covering concepts of event based code and will work with the Visual Programming Language (VPL) in a block based code to program the Thymio robot.

Dates:  Thurs, 2 Feb 2023  –  Thurs, 14 Dec 2023

Cost:  R600 per month (for 11 months) payable on the 1st of the month.
