Thymio (Teachers & Adults)

In this course, learners will learn to program the Thymio robot using Blockly-based drag-and-drop coding and the sensors that are built into the Thymio.  Learners will program the Thymio to activate when a sound is detected using the sound sensor, and then deactivate when the Thymio is touched.  Learners will make use of Thymio’s infrared sensors to detect objects at a distance, as well as programming the Thymio to perform different actions depending on which sensor is triggered.
